From a corporate social responsibility to contribute to serve the humanity Asgar Ali Hospital, a 250 bedded modernized multi-disciplinary, tertiary care hospital, located at Gandaria, Dhaka; a concern of City Group (www.citygroup.com.bd), started its operation on 28th March 2016. The Hospital is exclusively managed by professional management team, well reputed medical professionals, skilled nurses and technologists with state-of-the-art medical technology and in a very short span of time has grown into a 350 bedded hospital. To ensure a better patient care and a learning environment too, this hospital is well equipped with all available modern laboratory and other facilities. It gives me great honor and great pleasure to observe that in a short stretch of time the hospital earned a very good acceptability and tremendous fame in providing quality medical services in the locality and in the country.

Then we have decided to establish a world class medical college to raise qualified doctors to fit up the hospital and community as a whole. Eventually, we are under process of it.I am intensely grateful to the respective authorities of Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, University of Dhaka and BM & DC (Bangladesh Medical & Dental Council) for their visionary support and guidance to help us establishing Asgar Ali Medical college in the same campus. We welcome the opportunity and feel honoured to begin this journey with you towards a life of service in providing better health to communities. The College will be aiming at improving the systems of medical education and health care delivery with modernized medical education and clinical training, which will have relevance to the need of the country. We intend to bridge the gap between the need and resource for the development of health services in Bangladesh.
